I don't know what complimentary memberships Don is referring to but I can only assume he means all complimentary memberships. If that's the case, I don't know if that's such a good idea. Of course, since it's the morning after this might be water under the bridge.
Last year we ran a CBJ class and a couple members of the local media were offered complimentary memberships for attending the class. After the class was over, they were sworn in as CBJ's and given a one year membership in the organization. That was a great idea in my opinion because it made them a part of the organization rather than get them to cover one event then fade away until next year.
