Default Autowater on a Backwoods Cooker

My pit is a BWS Competitor, I added $6 bucks worth of plumbing to add water to the cooker without having to open the door.

The material list:
1 1/4" x 1 1/4" Galv. Tee
(2) 1 1/4" x Close Nipples
1 1/4" Female Thrd. x 2" Hub Bushing PVC
3" x 2" Hub Reducer PVC
Teflon Tape

Real important step:
After you put it all together, take a level and transfer a level line from just below the top of the water pan over to the top of the funnel and mark it. The water will be the same level in the water pan as in the funnel, you can cut the excess off with a hacksaw. This way you will never overfill your water pan.

Good luck,
