Beans are kinda like fatties, ABT's, Stuffed loins, etc.
You can really let loose and create your own version--no real rules or secrets.
Almost anything works!

I tried Keri's with the apple, and I tried Myron's with peach.
Loved them both.
Myron Mixon's (Jack's Old South) recipe is here:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/reci..._27741,00.html
This is some "stuff" from last week.
Bacon, pulled pork, chopped brisket, onion, green/red/yellow/orange bell peppers, chopped jalapeņo, and ?????
Rendered it all down, added #10 can of Bush's Original beans, a 303 can of peaches cubed up, and a jar of peach marmalade I had laying around, some BBQ sauce, and some spices to include Emeril's Essence.
Put in smoker under pork for about 3 hours at 250 Deg.
GONE, GONE in a flash!
Everyone who eats my "beans" says they are a "meal"--not just a side dish
Just blend all the good recipes to make them your own and COOK ON!
