Glen, glad you hung in there and were able to figure out how to post a picture so you could get a solid entry in. The Throwdowns were the reason I started posting pictures here, and it also took me a while to figure it out too!

For whatever it's worth, when many of our members vote, there are numerous factors that are considered, such as - whether there was a detailed or descriptive cook thread, the creativity or effort that went into the entry, how the entry best captured the "spirit" of the Throwdown, etc.
In other words, the best picture does not always win.

This is just my $0.02, but I really think that the picture from the cook thread with the burger, brat and chips on the red, white and blue plate looks so much better than the entry pic. Not trying to be a farker, just trying to help.
