Yeah; old age ain't for pussies.
I had my gallbladder removed and that has "unpleasant" complications with fat digestion. So now I use my BBQ as an ingredient rather than as an entree. This necessary adaption also has me eating much more vegetables.
Some of my favorites:
- smoked chicken enchaladas
- pulled pork tacos
- smoked pork chile verde
- red chile con carne
If you have a problem with hot peppers too, just tone it down by substituting some hot peppers with bell peppers; or some other type of "sweet" pepper.
