I had the damper open all the way with about 1/2 chimney of lit. Set guru at 250* After about 20-25 minutes I was at 198* so I untapped one of the intakes and opened it up till I got up to 240 then closed it.

Do I just need to be more patient and allow more time for WSM to come up to temp?
