start with bacon, leave the grease behind and pour in you corn pancake batter...flip when edges are CRISPY and a little butter / maple syrup...mmmmmmm
Sounds delicious, a good friend would make "johnny cakes" they were very good.
I always save the bacon grease, so I can add back small amounts when needed.
I Keep a small jar in the fridge also, for seasoning.
