This event was first class! Water and electricity was perfect. Except for rain starting at brisket turn in, the weather was perfect.
Also a big shout out to the six backyard teams that stepped up to the pro division so we could make the 25 team minimum. We were thankful for that and even gave some of them our left over parsley garnish to help out.
We did fair, our second call in our second comp ever. Brisket was slightly over cooked which killed our overall rank. We had an 11th in chicken, 9th in ribs, 12th in pork, and 18th in brisket, overall 15th out of 26. Not bad for our second comp.
