long story short, amazon told me to send it back to them, after I had hammered on the nuts for the wheels. I told them I'd gladly send it back, after i disassembled it with a sledgehammer. Some back and forth and they begrudgingly let me keep it. I assembled it in the dark the second UPS pulled up in the driveway, threw some coals in her to burn off the grease, when I woke up the next morning, I noticed the golfball sized dent in the grills lid. It was a clear night, and nothing had done it except being damaged in shipping. Amazon sent me a new grill, and weber sent me a brand new lid.
