Default Need Brethren suggestions

So I entered this local bbq competition. It was $50 to enter plus $25 for electric. The entry form had brisket, pork ribs and pork butt as options. It said choose one but I called and asked if we could choose them all and the organizer said yes. It only makes sense because to win the overall, you need to cook all 3. Well just yesterday I talked to the guy and he said that "a lot of people have chosen all 3 meats and if we wanted to do that we either and to pay 2 more entry fees ($100 more) or buy the the other 2 meats ourselves". Now keep in mind they have sold about 200 tickets to the public so they could sample the bbq. There are prizes supposedly, but there is no mention of what they are. This is their first year and I understand they have some kinks to work out, but I'm a little hesitant to shell out the extra cash because it seems so disorganized.
