It's not a bad pit but not for $1,500, judging by the quality, pretty well made with 1/4 inch construction I'd say that it was around $1,000 to $1,500 new. I'd try to talk the seller down to about $750 based on the description and picture. If you want to spend something around the asking price, you can get a brand new, nicer pit from Lone Star Grillz. Here's a link to the website and a Youtube video on the model I have in mind. I'm actually having one of these built for myself, only I'm upgrading the cabinet, the firebox and adding a warmer/oven. Anyway, have a look and see what you think!
