So I acquired a bulk box of white mushrooms... handling/preserving question
a friend just handed me a fresh box of whole white mushrooms from his restaurant (7lbs). They are moving to frozen, pre-battered and the owner said to toss them (they just came in on the truck today).
What do I do with them. I love mushrooms, but I can't fathom cooking this many before they go bad.
1) can I freeze them?
2) how long can I refrigerate them?
3) give me some dam recipes to use them in :)
