Personally the Hungarian Paprika is more sweet than hot. But to me it has more of a "smokey" flavor than regular paprika. The red pepper is crushed. I know you like things a bit hot so you might want a full teaspoon or more.
Oh, almost forgot. I put this rub in a food blender for about ten seconds.
