Thanks fella's... I didnt even think of cooking, then freezing it.
It has been in the fridge defrosting since Wednesday morning. I kept pushing the cook date back to make sure it was going to be OK come Saturday. Now that it will be frozen, I may just end up doing the cook Saturday.
I was also thinking of pre-smoking a couple fatties for biscuits (in the dutch oven) one morning. I assume those would be fine to cook then freeze too?
I cant wait to get out and do some camp cookin!!
