Your pork shoulder is about 1$ cheaper I am not sure of local grading but it is the best pork shoulder I have EVER eaten. Tri-Tip is about 3$ more than my "choice." Brisket is about $.25 cheaper.

Butcher doesn't display porterhouse. But delmonicao is $9-11/lb depending on the day, chuck roast is right around $4.50. Baby back right now are special order and prolly $3-3.50ish and a 2-3 day order (they do not carry grill meats all year round).

My butcher shop does not order in whole animal. They buy direct bulk cuts from the slugherhouse about 1 hour south west of the store. My old lady grew up in the area where our meat is sourced.

(Yeah, I asked about sourcing. I love serving up my bbq and knowing the sourcing of my meats. My guests always looked surprised at the fact I make it a point to not serve mystery meats off my smoker. I STRONGLY suggest you ask your butcher about sourcing, they should be happy to boast that they don't sell crap.) Plus if you buy in "bulk" most butchers will generally cut you a deal (~10%) (give 3 days and pay cash when you pick-up your order.)
