With dry spices I just mix in a bowl with my hand(s).

For wet rubs I use a morter & pestal. A little garlic, rosemary, thyme & mint with a splash of olive oil is perfect for lamb.

I suppose you could use a food processer, but what fun is that? Old school Baby!
