Default best way to glue on kamado top?

What is the best way to glue on the kamado top? I've got a king size of JB Weld that I could use OR I've got some refractory cement that I could use to cement this top part back in place.

1. All JB Weld
2. All refractory cement (closer to clay thermal expansion coeficient than JB)
3. small JB Weld bead covered by refractory cement. best or worst of both?

I also thought about cementing in some small steel wires like fishing leader or clothes hanger material to act like rebar. Maybe this is overdoing it.

See pix for problem I'm wanting to fix.
