I did do a build thread a while back but never got around to doing any mods until this past weekend. I wanted to put a smoker box of some kind and was kicking around ideas but decided to try a slow cook on it first. I covered the air gaps on the door opening and it held at 275 degrees with minor adjustments for over 8 hours without adding charcoal. After the 8 hours I snuffed out the fire and still had about 20% of the charcoal left.
The ribs turned out fantastic but in my opinion, The Killer Hogs rubs stood out a bit more but all three rubs taste awesome....
