Yes, the genesis is an awesome grill and I've used it several times a week the past 10 years for everything from burgers and dogs to full turkeys.
And yes, maybe I'm crazy but I'm finding my cooks in the wsj to come out better, juicier & my wife and kids say the same. So far, I've only done quick weeknight cooks on it and its not much different from waiting for the gasser to come up to temp.... Small price to pay for great cooks!
