I'm with vision, minion rocks..... Even if I don't wait as long, I can't taste a difference outside my spices and wood smoke. If there is a taste in there then it's adding to the good flavor (blue bag).
I'd recommend stop worry so much about the very minor details that cause sp much discussion........get to smoking, enjoy every minute of it, enjoy life and formulate your own opinions based on your experiences, that's 1/2 the fun of cooking....
Oh, and post some pics and details of your cooks.... I love seeing what peeps have going on....
