Also, when the first smoker I bought was a Cookshack Smokette. I didn't know how to control a fire, but I loved the end results. It is a set it and forget it type of cooker. I have nothing against Cookshack whatsoever and would recommend it to anyone out there. However on the budget side of things, I had a friend purchase an identical cooker to mine called Smokin'-It. It really is just like mine, but 1/3 of the price and unfortunately it is not made in the US like Cookshack is (Personal Preference). The pricing on these is way cheaper than Cookshack, Masterbuilt, and Smokin Tex. Just an option if you want good BBQ come easy.
