The recipe sounds really similar to some I learned to make while I was working at the Lipton Tea Co. a million years ago. They weren't hard, and they weren't cut into bars. They were regular soft, round cookies, and the baker called them "Mexican Wedding Cookies." All the employees were crazy for them. They were delicious!
