You know what's funny is that I lived in Texas for 4 years - out in Lubbock. And I never really heard too much about BBQ. I think I've eaten BBQ 3 times in 4 years. When we go out to eat it's usually mexican food, burgers, or chicken fried steak.
They could definitely use a bit more BBQ education out in West Texas.
