I tried Ron's beef injection on 2 briskets I did this past weekend for a Bills tailgate party. I combined the injection with the In the House rub and the briskets were excellent.Great flavor from the rub and the injection and it definitely helps keep the meat moist, something we have been struggling with in competitions. We are going to put it to the judges test this weekend at the Oinktoberfest competition. If the judges like it as much as the 50 or so people at our tailgate did, we should be in good shape.
I did not strain it, and did not notice any staining of the meat, for those wondering. I also mixed mine with beer as the liquid!!!
