I'm very much a rookie here
. Only have two cooks under my belt both were ok but the flavor is not even close. I am in the need to experiment with flavoring instead of making my own rub's and marinates, Don't get me wrong that is the part that a like about this experimenting with different spices and what not. I feel there needs to be a basic knowledge of what each spice will do in the grand scheme of rubs.
So i just put an order in with Simply Marvelous. Next weekend cooking up 6 racks of baby backs. In the mean time spending a week in Raleigh north Carolina. Angus Barn here i come!!!!
