I just put the clumpy stuff in a zip lock sammich bag, and gently whack it with the flat side of my meat hammer and then smoosh it with my fingers. (I know, that sounds obscene but...)
Also, I mixed a half cup of the wing rub with two cups of apple cider and heated in a pot stirring to blend and used as an injection on a shoulder picnic. Best picnic I ever made. I vote for more Wing Rub!
