Well, I'm not getting any ideas for Mr. Big's big meal, so I just cooked up some leftover turkey for him. I was at my aunt's house this weekend celebrating Thanksgiving and brought a few things home. From Bigabyte's previous posts, I wouldn't be surprised if he makes something like this himself. I began with a bacon weave. In my experience, that's always a good start:
and then rolled out some sausage:
I then checked out what we had in the fridge. There was this one little container:
I added some turkey,
then added stuffing,
candied sweet potatoes? Why not?
and I'm sure Chris likes cranberries,
I rolled it all up and seasoned with Foil Hat Rub
I figured it would be an insult to use anything else. I put this in the smoker.
Notice, I also have dessert there. I was going to use one of these,
But it appears my aunt didn't send any of that back home with us, and for some reason we didn't have a spare resting on the counter.
I know Chris likes veggies and decided something different would be good. I grilled up some baby artichokes for him.
I served this with a homemade Belgian ale
I think he liked it. I didn't hear him say a single thing until it was all gone.
