The BEST way is in the Refrigerator....most Turkeys will take 5-6 days to
thaw. It is quite normal for them to feel "rock hard" for 4-5 days while
thawing out; then suddenly begin to feel soft on the 5-6th day.
There are other methods for thawing; but this is the best way.
