I posted the above because I consider prior election cycle answers are an important consideration in determining whether or not to vote for incumbents. I believe that all three incumbents care about KCBS, but due to the meltdown of the board in 2009, I am not certain that any should be reelected. I consider all three to be friends and this is painful to say. For real change on the board, there needs to be more than one seat filled with a new director. For a strong and vibrant future for KCBS, there needs to be a board with its primary focus on the future direction of the organization, not locked into day-to-day minutia of what's going on in the office in KC or other equally petty activities (who's got what, who's doing what, etc.). I've seen other BBQ entities melt down and fade away. I'd really hate for KCBS to do that too. It's on a cusp and will either handle it's growth and blossom...or not.
