I am making this one to do both, smoke and grill. I am making a special basket for grilling. What I have been doing, is setting the remainder of the 15 gallon drum that I made my fire basket from in the UDS and placing the ash pan and basket on top of it. It's getting to be a pain setting that messy drum in and out, and when it's out it's dripping burger grease on the patio.
