All day Sunday butt...pron.
Baby girls B-day.I worked all day on my grill build.(updates coming)...if I wanted another kid, Sunday would have been the day to make it with all that manly stuff...lol.(kidding ladies).
I forgot to take pictures of the side..:tsk:. We had great tater salad and slaw....wife did a fantastic job with those. Getting ready for the rub down...9lbs. http://www.eccsva.com/john/grill%20build/butt1.jpg Got the rub down http://www.eccsva.com/john/grill%20build/buttrub.jpg After about 8.5 hours: http://www.eccsva.com/john/grill%20build/buttcook.jpghttp://www.eccsva.com/john/grill%20build/buttcook2.jpg Off the pit wrapped and stored for about 45 min. Fall off the bone tender and an awesome taste....kids ate it up and the adults raved. I have eaten it for the last three meals minus breakfast, that was coffee. I have the Marine Corps Marathon next month, maybe just one more butt before then....:thumb: 12.5 hours later http://www.eccsva.com/john/grill%20build/buttfinish.jpg |
