First Judged Cook
Did my first judged competition this weekends and did fly my banner!
http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q...Q/HPIM2195.jpg I have to thank you guys for all the tidbits, tricks, tips and information that I have taken away from all the posts on this site, THANKS!!! I knew I had bad chicken even before it's time, and I was worried when I had to pull the brisket hours before turn in to make room for ribs. In the end, however, I was awarded first place for pork ribs, first place for pork butt, and third place for brisket! Had butt been included in the three categories judged for grand champion I probably would have made it, but butt and desert were not counted for it.
