So it IS the cooker and not the cook. That explains a few things.

Big Poppa 08-04-2010 01:48 PM

You still have to cook. Obviously. Nice comment. Would good cooks use poor cookers in comp? It is a very cool machine. THats all...If you're happy with your cooker than that is perfect.

Has anybody bought one of these? I saw the portable last month and almost pulled the trigger but it was just too small, I saw this on today and just couldn't resist. Do they make a portable stand or legs so you don't have to use it on a table?

Rustys BBQ 06-10-2013 03:12 PM

Im still looking at one as well. I want to know more about the hot spots when smoking. I wouldn't be doing anything big in here just maybe comp tri tips, burgers and maybe comp chicken.

also how big is that grate? 13x18?

Big Poppa 06-11-2013 10:34 AM

yeah the hot spots have to do with your charcoal distribution

deguerre 06-11-2013 10:36 AM

That's a nifty little cooker. How hot can it get?

Cayman1 06-11-2013 11:34 AM

What size aluminum pans could you get two of on the grill?
