Does anybody use corn cobs instead of wood to smoke. I was in Vermont over the weekend and stopped in this shop that sells maple syrup and cheese. They smoke their cheese,ribs,bacon,hams and everything else they can think of with corn cobs. The girl at the counter said they buy it ground up. There smoker feeds the fire with the corn like a pellet popper. Thanks
Sounds like a good way to use a bi-product that probably saves them a bunch of money. As long as it tastes good...
