Kosmo's Beef Injection ???
 

Okay, so I ordered some Kosmo's Beef Injection, as I want to be able to cook a brisket that is as good as my son's :-D It came today (well, yesterday, but didn't check the mail until today). I can't wait to try it. The instructions say to mix it with water, or beef broth, or other liquids. What's the consensus among the Brethren that use it - or have used it - as far as what to mix it with? Thanks!

When you mix the kosmos with a beef broth, do you refrigerate and inject or do you bring to a boil, cool and then inject? Or is there another way.

I have just mixed with the beef broth room temp and injected.

when you say beef broth do you mean like beef base or boullion??

Swanson's unsalted beef broth, mix at room temp, inject. So easy that I can do it!

I used Campbell's beef consomme. I firmly believe that the added gelatin amps up the juiciness more than broth.

I have used apple juice with success also.
