KCBS Bullsheet advertising question
I just received the May copy of the KCBS bullsheet.. Aside from browsing the usual contest ads, KCBS meeting notes etc. I noticed several pages that appeared to contain news articles. However upon closer reading they were more like advertisements.
Are these article type ads paid spots like a contest ads ? |
Press releases are printed free of charge.

Hmmm, I'm thinking some new marketing ideas are going to hatch :)

Thanks for the answer...
The press release concept appears like free advertising/publicity in disguise. |
I was just thinking I know several vendors that would make press releases when a new person/company is selling product for them. One of my sponsors just picked up a couple new lines of business, and had that offer made to him from the vendor for a press release. He already advertises in the bullsheet... but might be nice to draw attention to the new stuff - kinda a neat idea to pimp the releases out there. A one shot new informational deal for folks.
