"MSG myths still linger
Consumers have avoided MSG in the past because they believed it causes headaches, heart palpitations and other health problems. Although those myths all have been proved false, consumers still try to avoid the flavor enhancer. Despite this, some cooks and food companies have remained dedicated to the compound." This is the short story in the National Restaurant Electronic Publication Moderators please move if in the wrong place. Interesting comments and judging by the mixed comments in the what to put in rubs etc who proved what? Yep I am a firm believer in MSG. Good stuff! It happens to be in most everything everybody eats as well.
