If you just want to play it's ok, but I have always believed if you are gonna do something, do it right.
You need Pics and Links and something original. Starting off with 4 measly recipes is sort of lame though. Have a little content before you launch.

Brethren Link done . More content and Picks coming. I think there is a learning curve. Thanks for the comments!

I'm gonna add you to my links page if thats cool!

I like the look, but the layout could be improved. All of your articles begin "below the fold". Everytime I click a link, I have to scroll down the bottom of the page. May want to play with the theme a little.

Don't worry about not having a lot of content. You gotta start somewhere. I found that once you get in the habit, you find lots of stuff to write about. Don't overthink it and don't make it 100% self involved: Today I ate this, tomorrow I'm going to eat that. Who the hell cares? Some of that is okay, but too many food blogs are about the author. Its okay to use personal experience, but the intent should be to provide something to the reader.

Good luck... and a link to plowboysbbq.com would really set this baby off!
