As I poured my salad out of the bag...
...I pondered the bizarre irony of the moment I found myself in... it was late, I was tired and too lazy to cut up vegetables for a salad, but of course thought nothing of firing up the kettle to sear a flat iron to make that same salad worth eating.

What sort of illness do we have that allows our heads to twist reality in this way? and justify it?

All for the love of the pit. I see no illness, only passion.

Sometimes we just gotta eat meat! We're omnivores not horses or cows.

for the love of the end result. "Looks Great" though.

Shagdog 04-04-2014 06:27 AM

How are ya gonna cut veggies when you're busy grilling steak?? You were just prioritizing.

Wolverine 04-04-2014 06:30 AM

vegetable's are not food, vegetable's are what food eat's

rksylves 04-04-2014 06:35 AM

Salad in a bag..... How many hundreds of those have I gone through...

I feel ya, by the time I get home from work (Late!), the last thing I want to do is dive into a big complicated dinner. So it's either a frozen pizza (now there's a topic!), or bag-o-salad.

bigabyte 04-04-2014 06:46 AM

Yup. You just have your priorities is all! :thumb:

Mister Bob 04-04-2014 07:03 AM

Been there, done that. All part of the obsession we share.

Gore 04-04-2014 07:28 AM

I won't even open the refrigerator for salad. If it's not already on the counter, it's just not worth the bother. :tsk:

DaveAlvarado 04-04-2014 08:00 AM

It's because grilling isn't work.

NivekD 04-04-2014 08:26 AM

Vegetables are mearly a vehicle to get ranch dressing into our mouths...:heh:

Big George's BBQ 04-04-2014 09:09 AM
