OakRidge BBQ's Black Ops...It's Not Just For Beef!
OK, by now, you should know that Mike's Black Ops is one of the best beef rubs I've ever tried. Yesterday I was cooking a nice 7.4 LB bone in center cut AMERICAN raised leg of lamb. I figured the ingredients would match very well with lamb's basic flavor. I wasn't wrong.

Here's the leg after a generous rub (Don't be afraid to load the meat up!):

The Black Ops makes a wonderful, dark bark. It also added incredible depth to the simmering vegetables as the rub on the bottom of the lamb worked it's way through the pan juices during the cook.

And I concur with your assessment of Black Ops. It's a go-to for me now. I even tried it on chicken in the PBS. Good stuff!
