No, how much? That looks pretty cool.

J-Rod 06-29-2013 02:12 PM

That looks like a really nice unit! I'd like to see one in person.

Looks like some pretty sloppy welding in the lid. Made in China? Ah. From the Facebook page: $998.00 is the price at Sam's Club...

Looks like a Fat cousin to an ABS Bar-B- Cube with less usable space.

deguerre 06-29-2013 02:54 PM

A couple more pics.

At only a couple hundred dollars more, the ABS looks to be a better buy, at least just comparing pics anyway...

i guess no one has seen one in the wild or at the sam's club in bentonville. looks kinda interesting, sorta like a smaller version of what's mouned on the big bob gibson trailer. as this was a limited run to see if there was any interest in warrent a prodction run, i figured they'd have been fabricated somewhere in teh USA.

What is behind that skinny 2 handled door that is not open in the pics, a water pan? I'm flummoxed. I also like that it looks like the lower portion and doors are double walled.

Can't tell for sure but it looks like 11 gage (1/8") or better steel with some good angle iron and tubing structure. If it really is that heavy it might be a pretty good cooker, pretty durn pricey though.

Check this one out, it's more expensive but it looks a little bigger and a lot more versatile! http://www.lonestargrillz.com/Square...---Grills.html

Looks to me like the "skinny door" is a fixed panel with damper controls for heat and smoke going into the upper chambers.

If I'm going to spend $998.00 for a no doubt chinese junk (not to be confused with the boat, but any non food product they export to the US), I'm going a couple hundred more for a new Lang 36.

Saw them the other day. Had two 18 pound briskets in hand and it did not look like the quality was there so I just kept trucking.
