Not sure the guy would like me trying to Kiss him, lol but I sure felt like it. I love this site and will gladly flood it with more pics when I can. Have learned a lot from this site and it helped me win a small comp last year with my pulled pork.

Great score!

Great score on the trailer and some nice cooks.
BTW, whats with the briquets in the bottom of your vertical?
My 1st thought was "ceramic briquets used instead of fire bricks."
I wonder how well they would work?

MisterChrister 03-14-2013 09:30 AM

Nice rig & pig! Glad you're here!

Bluesman 03-14-2013 09:31 AM

Great score and welcome. Are you selling at a festival or is that you comp setup?

pigville porkers 03-14-2013 09:32 AM

That vertical was another GL find, they are lava rocks, I guess the last owner thought they would help hold the heat in better? That Brinkman vert is really leaky and it has a really bad host spot right off of the fire box. It just got replaced last night so it is back on Gl :)

That was my last minute put together for a small comp
