PitMaker Vaults and smoke flavor?
Love My new PitMaker Vault. If you seen the pics of the briskets I did Sunday they looked awesome :icon_smile_tongue: . Tender and juicy, but lacking a good smoke ring and smoke flavor.
Other Vault owners how do you get more smoke into your food?
I used Kingford Comp and 5 fist sized hickory pieces of wood.
The briskets came straight out of the frig, seasoned, then into the smoker.
Is it as easy as just adding more wood?
add more wood
Use splits, they smoke longer. Also, consider the larger mojo bricks.
