No fresh (i.e. non-frozen) poultry at RD?
 
I visited a local Restaurant Depot to see what they had available. They had walls of fresh beef, pork, and sea food but the only birds they had were frozen. This surprised me. Is there a reason RD wouldn't have fresh poultry? Or is it just the one I went to?

The one that I go to has fresh poultry in case lots. It is in plain brown boxes. There should be someone working the meat department, ask him if they have it.

Thanks for the replies. I did ask and the guy I talked to said they only had frozen poultry. I don't think he was a manager, though, so maybe he was wrong.

Fresh but by the case only at my local RD.
