New Comp Plymouth Indiana

New Comp in Northern Indiana Sept 20th & 21st, State Champ hooked in with a Bluegrass Festival, the Venue will be in a shaded park with good electric & water many hookups all on pavement showers close by and all teams should be fairly close to turnins which is in a school gym which is where judging will be done as well, the purse will be 7000$ which is pretty good for a first year... Here's a link the web page is still being constructed but the entry forms are up more info should be coming soon. http://www.visitmarshallcounty.org/things-to-do/mc-bbq

just right up the road definitely going to look into this one might be there competing but do have one question never competed before do you have to pay for KCBS membership then pay the entry fee or does the entry fee cover the KCBS membership thanks

the only event that requires a KCBS membership is the Sam's club events. The entry fee does not get you a membership either.

Glad to see a bunch of interest Thanks All!

I think you will get some MI teams. This is past the MI bbq season, and I know a lot of teams look to extend their seasons a bit. If we could only get some in northern IN, IL, or anywhere in MI at the early part of the season....maybe April or May

sfisch 02-07-2013 05:18 PM

Got it on our list for consideration.

I tried to get them to have it early in the season, they are nervous want plenty of time to plan and make it successful .
