Looks good. Too bad it didn't meet expectations, but that's why we try new things.
As far as brisket rubs go. I tried two marinade/rub regimes on my first brisket: One with red wine and another using a coffee rub. I've been using the coffee rub and don't even have any desire to try something different. |
yes I put stubs beef marinade when i foil, coffee rub? im going to try that next time thanks!

Rookie question but is that a flat? Kinda hard for me to tell. Some slices look like the have point but I'm not positive
