Kingsford "Competition" brikets
While at CostCo yesterday, I saw a 2 bag bunbdle of Kingsford "Competition" brikets for $22... first time I have ever seen those... I didnt buy any as I use Lump only, but thought I would pass it along anyhow...

They're definitely one of the better briquettes (along with stubb's at lowes) and better than kingsford blue.
In the spring they're usually around 16$(w/coupon) in the spring/summer sales at costco. |
How are the better?

They do burn hotter, but also much faster.

I bought a bag yesterday to cook a couple of butts with for the Super Bowl. Gonna burn em in my UDS.

I use them in my ceramic grill. They do leave behind a lot of ash but there isn't any chemicals and they are all natural. You can get at Costco in summer with coupon for $13.99 for 2 big bags.
