2nd smoker??

Hey guys first time poster long time viewer. I am fixing to start trying to compete some in local shows around my area. I already have a char griller akorn now but i am looking for one more smoker to put on the trailer.I was thinking of either a wsm or a napoleon. What do you guys think also tryting to keep it under 400 ( if more i could just get a 2nd akorn) thanks for a awsome sight :clap2:

Can't go wrong with a 22.5 WSM. I have been doing contest with a one 18.5 and one 22.5 works well. Good luck 👍

Have fun and happy smoking

+2 on the WSM - a great addition.

A 22 1/2" WSM is right in your price range and turns out great 'q. :thumb:

Good luck.

Wsm 22

Don't buy a wsm 22................unless you want a great smoker, easy to use and in your price range.

Good luck with the competitions!

WSM is the perfect complement for the price imo.

You have the high-heat capability of the Akorn, and the low n' slow of the WSM not to mention good capacity.

Chalk up another vote for the 22 WSM.

I compete on four 18.5" WSMs. It would be the perfect complement.

just to be diffferent....

make yourself a UDS and save the extra money for meat to cook :thumb:

Seems to me a 22" WSM would be easier to move around then a UDS would be,

That answer took longer than it usually does :becky:

Seriously- can't go wrong with either a wsm or uds. And I would definitely take a wsm over a napoleon.
