NYE finger food ideas --- WHATCHA GOT?
 

I've got a big ole brisket on the smoke right now, but I'm looking for some other ideas for appetizers. We don't usually have a sit down dinner for NYE. We've got family coming over and we'll just have stuff coming and going throughout the night.

There's the obvious: sliced nekkid fatties, ABT's and MOINK balls



I've been wanting to try those other new things that I've seen here, but for the LIFE of me I can't remember what name they got? Pig something. The smoked sausage with bacon and brown sugar (I think), skewered with a toothpick. WHAT ARE THESE?

I believe a search for "pig shots" will fix you up.

I'm not sure what those are called either. They sound good. I like regular pig candy with lots of cayenne. Use maple bacon.

For something different, try chicken lollypops. They are wings that you bunch up, rub and smoke.

How about Bacon wrapped scallopes. Love those!

Yeah, good call. I also love to do shrimp wrapped with a whole basil leaf and then wrapped with bacon. THAT is killer.
