Breaking in the new Cast Iron
Picked up this beauty--- block Griswold #8 with self basting lid. She came already seasoned but I cleaned and reseasoned myself. Decided to pan fry some chicken tenders. Dredge was flour, S&P, and magic dust. Coated in egg, dredge,egg, and dredge again. Came out great! Ate with ketchup/habanero sauce mix.

She's a beauty! The chicken looks great too! My favorite pan to cook in is my gris 12, but it's a small stamp :icon_blush:

My mom gave me a very old Wagner #8 as a Christmas gift today. Needs to be cleaned and reseasoned, but looks to be in great shape. |
